Shooting - Scoring in Traffic
Shooting - Scoring in Traffic
This one-day, 60-minute camp is designed to help athletes become more effective scorers in high-pressure, high-traffic situations. Players will be challenged to shoot from uncomfortable positions, adapt to off-balance body mechanics, and maintain focus through physical and visual chaos.
Key focuses include:
Shooting with limited time and space
Releasing the puck under pressure or contact
Finding lanes and generating power off one leg, from tight angles, or in motion
Reacting and adjusting quickly after puck recovery or missed passes
This camp is ideal for athletes looking to develop confidence and scoring ability when the game feels messy and unpredictable. Through game-like scenarios and purposeful repetitions, players will learn to thrive in chaos and become more effective around the net.
