MBH Stickhandling Bootcamp
The off-season is where players create separation. While others are taking time off, the athletes who consistently develop their skills gain confidence, create new habits, and position themselves for success when tryouts and the season arrive.
The MBH Stickhandling Bootcamp is a high-repetition, high-engagement development program designed to help athletes improve puck control, confidence, and game performance through purposeful skill development.
Each 60-minute session combines technical instruction with hundreds of quality repetitions, giving athletes the opportunity to build stronger hands, better puck control, and greater confidence with the puck.
A major focus of the program is teaching athletes to separate their hands from their body, creating more reach, deception, puck protection, and the ability to create time and space. Athletes will also be challenged to keep their heads up, developing the awareness, scanning, and decision-making skills that translate directly to game situations.
Because the best players don't just handle the puck—they handle it confidently in traffic, under pressure, and while processing what's happening around them.

Why It Works
Our approach combines elite skill development with cognitive training principles to help athletes become more effective with the puck in game situations. Athletes won't just develop better hands—they'll learn to process information, make decisions, and execute skills while keeping their eyes up and engaged in the game. The result is greater confidence with the puck, improved decision-making under pressure, and skills that transfer directly to game situations.

“Nolan is always encouraging them, providing feedback and making the time to help any of the girls that are struggling with the particular skill they are working on. ”
“We have yet to be in a camp where our daughter was given the support that she was with Nolan”
“You left no one behind. If someone wasn’t quite getting the drill you helped and corrected and got them on track. Each skater got some one on one time in every session”
